Travis Hise joined Family Legal Advocacy Group, LLC in 2026 as a Senior Associate Attorney. Travis is a seasoned litigator with over seven years of exclusive family law experience. Travis gained his experience and was mentored at some of the most prestigious family law firms in Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Montgomery Counties.
A life-long resident of Maryland, Travis knew from an early age he wanted to become a lawyer after experiencing first-hand the effects that divorce and custody battles have on young children. It has always been his passion to be a strong voice for families.
Travis earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2018. While in law school, he was a member of the Bronfein Family Law Clinic, where he provided representation as a student attorney. He received his B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from McDaniel College in 2015, building a foundation in advocacy and public service.
Travis understands the lasting impact family disputes can have on parents and children and works to provide steady, informed guidance. Travis approaches each case with preparation, responsiveness, and a commitment to protecting his clients’ long-term interests.
Travis is a proponent for family empowerment by allowing his clients to be full participants in the decision-making process by educating his clients as to options and possible outcomes. Whenever possible, Travis attempts to settle cases to avoid costly litigation and allow his clients to move forward to a brighter future; however, when a case cannot be settled, Travis is a fierce advocate in the courtroom for his clients. Outside of the office, Travis is busy with his family that now includes his infant son. He also enjoys hiking and playing with his dog Tallula.
